Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are complex medical modalities that have been used throughout much of the world for over two thousand years. Throughout my career, I have worked with countless patients who have experienced the effects and benefits of TCM. I am continually amazed at the results we see each day, and am passionate about helping patients experience these benefits for themselves. I began my career at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Here, I gained specific insight into treating side effects related to cancer treatment. My team of acupuncturists and I created treatment protocols and techniques for oncology specific symptoms that I continue to update and use today. The most common symptoms being nausea, peripheral neuropathy, chronic and acute pain, fatigue, and mood changes. I currently treat oncology patients in my own practice and partner with The Cancer Rehab & Integrative Medicine center in Austin. . After leaving Cancer Treatment Centers of America, I spent many years working at Baylor Scott and White Health. As the manager of our department and lead acupuncturist, I had the privilege of treating hundreds of patients with varying levels of disease progression. As a result, I've become well versed in treating common ailments such as chronic and acute pain, headaches and migraines, digestion, sleep, women's health and more.
